This impressive building is a wonderful blend of stone and timber was built in 1929, and is considered a local landmark. The Lodge includes a formal dining room, floor to ceiling fireplaces, and beautiful oak floors that are perfect to dance on. The building is filled with a wonderful array of intricate basketry and murals of rich Coast Salish design. You can have a more intimate dining experience with up to 80 people, or enjoy a dessert bar and dancing for a reception of up to 150. The Main Lodge is comprised of three main areas: A formal dining room, The Center Room, and The Moose Room. The Dining Room is a more formal space, with windows and a wall of French doors with a beautiful view. The doors open outward onto a concrete, wood, and glass patio that sits atop the head of quiet pond where ducks reside. The space is surrounded with blooming gardens year-round, and provides an excellent view of the waterfront as well. The Center Room is the main guest area, which includes the perfect space for dancing and soiree. This space is where the bar is located, and provides access to covered terraces of fresh greenery and old growth grape vines. Easy access to the beach, and the iconic “Laura’s Log” filmed in the early 1990 series: Twin Peaks. For the wallflowers, or those just looking for a quieter, more intimate space; The Moose Room is a very rustic, lodge-like space. The room includes a large fireplace, leather couches and armchairs so comfortable you won’t want to get up! The room also includes an espresso bar, for those who want that jolt of caffeine. Up the spiral staircase is a private dressing room that opens out to a small balcony that overlooks the event lawn; the perfect setup for that group photo!
